I have to agree with the others. HUH? I think you might need to expand on what you are trying to say here.
That was great! I was already freaked out, but hearing Pres. Benson talk about our country and Constitution is always very uplifting (if frightening). I think that this year I am really learning what it means to be a true American, and how asleep I've been for my whole life. Thanks for putting that on there.
Komrades! Welcome to socialism! It's either going to to be a tidal wave under Obama and the dem congress or a slow tide under McCain, but it's coming. First our financial institutions (done), then our healthcare (coming). Are the farms next? My Venezuelan employees who fled Hugo Chavez are amazed at what we are doing to ourselves.
Our constitution is no longer considered a divinely inspired document to govern how our country is run but a "living document" that can be 'modified' to fit what is currently desired by whoever is in charge at the time. Has anyone noticed that 'superdelegates' are specifically forbidden in the Constitution? I didn't know that before. Yet that is how one of the major parties in our country select their candidate and no one even bats an eye. I'm obviously no constitutional scholar, but I am a thinker... and that doesn't seem right. We no longer have an "informed electorate" (have you seen any of Jay Leno's street interviews where he asks political questions?) as the founding fathers say is necessary for freedom to endure in this country. Those people are cancelling out my vote! I sound like some extremist living in the mountains with a closet full of guns... but I'm not. I live in town.
By the way... does it bother anyone else that nearly a quarter of the military's votes are not counted due to inconsistancies or late delivery from overseas but Acorn's are so hard to get discarded?
