My FASHION statement for the day? Black T SMEARED with baby food.
I had a return of the CRAZIES last night. My dear mother told me about a scary story she heard on the news and it sent me into all out panicked FREAKAZOID mode. I spent about an hour wandering about the house checking and rechecking the doors and windows and house alarm. Yes, we have a house alarm, just in case any crazy scary person is reading this. And I check ALL my windows and doors nightly. I usually have a nice little routine set up, I have a certain order I check them in and particular OCD inspired way in which they must be tested to make sure they are actually locked. That little routine just goes out the window when I am freaked out. I still feel a little shaky today but I am trying to get back in CONTROL.
All of a sudden I have these horrible BAGS under my eyes. Does that mean I am getting OLD?
I am expecting a call from Zac any minute saying his head HURTS and he needs to come HOME from school. What if I don't answer the phone?
As EXCITED as I am about building a house, I am also SCARED to death.
I have a TO DO list for today that is a mile and a half LONG.
The current SONG going through my head? Oh, SUSANNA! Why? I really can't say. It is just there. At least it knocked FABULOUS out.
I am ready for LOST to start again. Does anyone know WHEN that will be?
I have come from ALABAMA with a BANJO on my knee.
Never mind. Fabulous is BACK. I don't know why I played the video when I looked it up to provide the above link but it is back. It has been there for two weeks, 5 days, 4 hours and 22 minutes. Fetch me my Jimmy Choo flip flops, where is my pink Prada tote, I need my Tiffany hair band, and then I can go for a floaoaoat......I am going to lose my MIND.

Do you still check behind the shower curtain when you come home? :) I remember you did that in your apartment.
That is included in my nightly sweep yes. Thanks for letting all my secrets out!
Sorry. Whenever I am home alone for the night(which is not often) I still remember you doing that - so I do it too!
Is it really still only monday? uhh.
It was a very long day.
It was a long day? So what was the story mom told you that got you all in an OCD fit?
You know, I rarely check my doors, I leave it up to Bart to do that. I have also been known to leave my house with the front door unlocked. And when I come back, I don't check any closets or showers. Does that freak you out?
If I left it up to Steve we would all have been killed in our beds by now or my kids would have all been taken. One night a couple years ago I was sick so I went to bed early and Steve came to bed later and was watching a football game in bed. I woke up around midnight and got up and he had left the front door wide open. WIDE OPEN! I about had an all out full blown panic attack. In fact just last night after I made my rounds I asked him if anything ever happens to me would he promise me right now that he would make sure all the doors and windows were locked before he went to bed. So to answer your question, YES IT DOES FREAK ME OUT!
ready for a new post
If I left it up to Steve we would all have been killed in our beds by now or my kids would have all been taken. - You are crazy paranoid. This is not normal. In our old house, Bart and I slept with the door wide open once. I am not saying that is a good idea, but I didn't freak out either.
Oh Allyson, Thank you!! I am exactly the same. Pedro is like Steve. On 2 different occassions he has left the door wide open when we went to church or the store. WIDE OPEN!! For like 4 hours!! I made him go in first and check it out. If I see that the TV is still there, I will go ahead and go inside and check out every closet, bathroom shower curtain, behind doors, etc... I know I am paranoid, too.
PS. I am so jealous that you are going to build a house! Just kidding! I have been trying to talk Pedro into doing that within the next 5 years or so, but he is not going for it. We will have to wait and see. That is so exciting!
No, it's not that song. It is fabulous from High School Musical 2. My kids listen to the soundtrack constantly. If you click on the word fabulous in my thing it will take you to it and you can see for yourself the kind of circus I have going on up in my head.
And see Farrah, it isn't just me.
I just realized that. I like mine better. My kids are not that into High School Muscial 2. They loved the first one, but they just saw the 2nd one once and then lost interest. Guess I am just lucky!
Allyson, check out my blog. I put a link to the song I was talking about. Maybe it will help you get the others out of your head.
