Monday Morning Musings

It is FREEZING here and at the beginning of the summer I got rid of all my winter clothes and shoes. Oops.
I really don't want to go SHOPPING for new clothes and shoes. Kristy, will you come do my shopping for me?
Zac is suddenly OBSESSED with wanting to sell stuff on e-bay. He keeps looking through his room for stuff to sell and he keeps getting on e-bay trying to figure out how to list things. It's driving me crazy.
Why did I say I would be in charge of Emily's Halloween PARTY at school? I would love to help with it but after being in charge of everything that went on at the school last year when I was PTA president, I am thoroughly enjoying being in charge of nothing this year.
So, yesterday a guy in our ward was walking to church and walked by a car parked on the street and just happened to notice that there was a dead BODY in it with a gunshot wound to the head.
If you know anything about me, I don't have to tell you how FREAKED OUT I am right now.
It was about 2 blocks away from my house. The car was parked in front of my friends house. Had it have been parked in front of mine I would have PACKED UP yesterday and moved into my parents basement and the for sale sign would be up in my yard today.
I no longer have any wavering DOUBTS about building a house.

Oh my gosh!! That would freak me out too. Aren't you glad it wasn't you that discovered it while walking to church? I probably would have thrown up. I can't even believe that. Wow.

I would love to do your shopping. I love spending other peoples money.

Maybe Zac will be good at decluttering the house by saling on ebay.

I am sorry about the party. I volunteered to bring the snacks for tias preschool halloween party and that is enough work for me and all i have to do is bake a few cupcakes.

And whats the big deal about a dead body in a car?

Oh my gosh that is soooo scary about the dead person. Yikes. I want you to move. I can't believe we almost moved close to there.

Okay, why isn't Gabe's school having a Halloween party?

I wouldn't let Kristy buy your clothes for you, she is too indecisive.

The dead person is just too cool! Just kidding. That is freaky, I hope the person doesn't come and get you now that you told them you live two blocks from that house. They are going to look at your picture here on the blog and stalk your neighborhood until they see you.

Farrah, you are so mean...funny, but mean!

Don't worry about the dead body in the car, they probably shot it way far away and dumped the car in your hood.

Thanks for putting ideas into peoples heads.

And Kathy, I really do live in a nice neighborhood. They think what happened was exactly what Coren said because no one heard anything that night and my friend whose house it was in front of has 2 big dogs and they usually go crazy when anything is going on outside but they didn't do anything.

OH MY GOSH!!! I just read your blog and oh my gosh! That is all that I can say about the dead body!!! I would have freaked out and moved into my parents house also!!

Zac is just like my little brother he is doing the same thing with his stuff on Ebay.

My children are not having a Halloween party at school either, Farrah. The teacher said that it is a state regulation that they can only have two parties a year and Christmas and Valentine's Day is it for Garland. Crazy but true.

We can't have Christmas parties here.

Oh, and they caught the guy who shot the other guy. They say he shot him somewhere else and dumped him here. They both have very long criminal records.

That's crazy! Atleast they caught him, though.
