School's Out Day 2 - Cookies/This Is the Place

The kids were out of school again on Monday. We went to our friend Betsy's house Monday morning to frost and of course eat sugar cookies with all our friends. Later that afternoon I took the kids and went to "This Is The Place" park to their "Little Haunts" activity. The kids had a great time making fun crafts, trick or treating, taking a hayride, running wild through a corn maze, and riding the train. The local weatherman was there and we got to stand right next to him while he was giving the forecast. He even asked Zac a few questions. I don't know if we were actually on the news or not, but the kids thought it was cool.

So, does everyone in Utah have those pioneer bonnets?

Yes. In fact it is required. They hand them out in the "Welcome to Utah, you are one of us now" meetings they have for all new residents.

very fun. we loved going to that place-although when we went it was 100 degrees and I did sweat all day.
