These are a few of the words that have come out of my mouth the last few days that have given me reason to pause and think, "Haven't I heard that somewhere before???"
- Why is it that y'all can put your clothes on the floor so that they are touching the dirty clothes basket, but you can't actually put them in the dirty clothes basket?
- Don't take that tone when talking to me, young lady!
- Why are there clean, folded clothes in the dirty clothes basket!?
- Do you know how long it took me to fold all those clothes that you are just shoving into your drawers?
- Would you please stop trying to kill your sister.
- When I said clean up your room, I didn't mean just shove everything into the closet.
- Stop being a smart aleck.
- How does it make you feel to know you can make your sister, who is half your age cry?
- You think I'm being mean? Oh, ho....I'll show you mean.

sounds like me the last few days, except that I've had to lock myself in my room so I don't lose it.

Yep! It seems the worse the kids are the more I sound like my mom. Those must be the things that burned into my brain when I was little because we were in trouble. and now they are resurfacing.
