Emily and I have a fav-O-rite show we watch every summer together. Only for some reason this summer we hadn't watched it. It recorded on our DVR we just never found the time to actually sit down and view it. This past week we finally decided that the time had come. We watched all 7 episodes in 2 days. The show is Design Star. We love it and we loved watching so many in a row. We were very sad when we ran out of episodes to watch. The final challenge is on tonight and next week the Design Star winner will be named. We are so excited. We have been fans of the show since the beginning. Our most favorite designer is David who won season 1. His prize? His own show on HGTV. Color Splash. We have that set to record also. We have never missed an episode. Our dream, me and my gal Emily, is to have David come and decorate a room in our new house. While watching Design Star this time around we noticed a promo for a new design challenge show. It is called Summer Showdown. We watched the commercial, looked at each other with wide eyes and set the DVR to record that show too. It's our favorite thing to do together, watch HGTV. I was just wondering if there were any other Design Star fans out there?

HGTV Junkies

I LOVE DESIGN STAR!!!! David was definitely my fav from season one, I am soo glad he won it. I have only been able to see a few episodes this season :(
Thank you!! After reading your post, I thought I would check and see if they were available online (since that is the only way I see anything anymore) and guess what? They are all available online...every season, every episode!!!

Joey and I love to watch HGTV. We really like house hunters. (Maybe because in a couple of years it could be a reality. I hope!)
If I had cable I would be an HGTV junkie, too. I love that channel. I am going to check out the shows online (thanks for the tip, Heather) and I'll gush at you at the park.

Priscila and I watch Flip this house and Flip that House, but Design Star commercials actually looked pretty good. BTW, I updated my blog.

I just started watching season 1 & I love it!
Are you kidding!! HGTV is all I ever watch. Once I put the kids to bed I plop on the sofa and watch it until I cant keep my eyes open any longer. One of the design stars from last episode was my neighbors sister in law. And I have 2 other friends and I who sit on the phone together during design star discussing it.
Come on people you have never heard of disine star! GASP!!!!!! I am ashamed of you guys. exept for Heather,Mike and Sheila,and Kathy. And it is stange because all you guys are in my extended family.
