When the 1-800-Junk Man came to the door to tell me about it, why did he have to say it out loud where my kids could hear? Why couldn't he whisper, "Can I talk to you for a minute please?" You know why? Because he clearly doesn't have kids.
My girls are begging. BEGGING me to let them keep "JUST ONE KITTEN MOM!" You are going to think I am a horrible person, but I just don't get it. I don't get why I would want to have some animal living in my house. At least one that I haven't given birth to. Aside from myself, I have 5 living creatures that I have to take care of, and I can barely do that. And I can't even make my 2 year old go to the bathroom where she should, how do you think I would do with a 5 day old kitten? I would go crazy. Strike that. I already am crazy. If we keep a kitten, that just might be the thing that sends me over the edge. I'm not kidding.
My children think I am unreasonably mean. I'm just looking out for their best interests, really. I mean, what kind of life would they have if their mother ended up in the crazy house? Besides, I am sure that Steve and Zac's allergies would go crazy with something furry running about.
So, there ya have it. I am the meanest mom ever. Anybody want a kitten? Or two? Or six? PLEASE!

You are not mean-kittens are cute but I am not so much a cat person! :)
"You are mean" is just what your kids say when there limited vocabulary keeps them from saying, "You're right Mom. I really don't want t walk around a house with animal %^&* in it." Eventually they will become parents and realize you have enough %^&* to deal with, without voluntarily bringing in something to do more for you.
The reson I'm holding the kitten so wierd is because I'm actuly holding two.
Is the mother cat still there? Poor things. But they do grow up so very fast into big cats.
Yes you are mean.....so am I. I have banned animals from my home, and use allergies as an excuse (James and Porter are allergic) but it's only cuz I get the whole cleaning up the poop from more than just my children. I'm right there with ya.
Those kittens really are so cute! And no I do not want one...I already have one plus a puppy.
You should let them keep one, just make it stay outside. They are great for keeping the mice population down and since you are in the middle of nowhere now it might be a good thing! (BTW they like to kill spiders too)
thanks aunt Heather. at least you are nicer then my mom.
You should let them keep one. I am sorry but you are mean! That picture of Addy is ADORABLE!!!
Well we do have a kitten & honestly I am so sick of it. It it poops everywhere & leaves it's fur on my sewing material & I have to clean out the litter box & the most annoying is it eats human food, like the second we walk away from it. So if I could make it disapear I would. But I can't.
