The year was 2002. Mom came from Dallas for a visit. She and I took Zac and Emily and drove up to Idaho to visit Scott and Kristy who were going to BYU Idaho at the time. It was a fun trip. I wish you two, or four at the present time, still lived "close" so we could see you more often.

I love Kristy's do rag. She can pull just about anything off. And look how little your kids are. So cute!
Can we mention that I am preggers in that picture. And what was i thinking with do rag? I thought it was cute at the time and plus it always bought me one more day of not washing and fixing my hair.
also, that was fun when you two came to visit. I remember loving playing with zac and em thinking that i would soon have a baby of my own. I love those two. I loved living close to them during college! and to you too allyson.
you should come visit again-there is much more to do where i live now than there was then.

I thought about that after I posted. You and I were both pregnant. I was going to post a pic of us on the carousel but I couldn't bring myself to post such a nasty picture of me, even though I have done it in the past. At least you still look cute in old pictures Kristy. I look at some old pictures of me and I am just baffled. What the heck was I thinking? And I am so lucky Steve really loves me, poor guy. And I guess it helps that he has no sense of style. I never thought of that as a blessing before. I am a much "better" person today than I used to be.
