The alarm on my cell phone went off at 6:40 this morning, just like it does every other morning. I turned it off and laid in bed for a few minutes, just like I do every morning. Then I got up and started getting ready for church. As I was getting ready, I was keeping time by my DVR in my bedroom. That's how I knew when it was time to leave for church. We went to church, came home at 12:00, changed clothes, ate lunch. While in the middle of eating lunch, I looked over at the clock on the oven. It said 2:09. I freaked out for a minute. I'm thinking it took us 2 hours to change and start eating lunch??? Really? That's when I realized that my most favorite day of the whole entire year passed me by without my even knowing it. My cell phone and DVR automatically updated and.....I didn't even know! I am still mourning the loss of my extra hour. Steve keeps telling me that I didn't miss the extra hour, I still got an extra hour of sleep. But it's just not the same.

I woke up today at 7:15 and loved thinking about the fact that is was really 8:15. Ahhh. That extra hour brings me happiness. I am sorry you missed the joy of pondering over it while laying in bed-the good news is that you only have 365 days to wait till next time.
Thats too funny. I am usually so nervous that we will forget to change the clocks (even though we never have) that I don't get to enjoy it.
Ally, I was up working when the clock on my computer suddenly went from 1:59 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. I was so tired I thought I must be crazy. But I used the extra hour to my advantage and stay up for another 2 1/2 hours.
I suggest you stay up to watch the clock change on your phone next year.
Farrah! Are you insane? Get some sleep!
I agree, Farrah. I was up at 12:30am this morning still, and I heard the ding on the computer saying I had an email. I thought it was another nasty viagra or enlargement (of something I don't have) email. I found out this morning that is was the volunteer coordinator at the kids school! She must have too much on her plate, too.
