I haven't felt much like blogging lately. I haven't had much time to blog lately. But I have decided it is time to hop back on that big old blogging bus and resume my daily journey through cyber space. Ok, that was really corny. One of my fathers favorite things to do every day was read my and my sisters blogs. He was probably our most avid reader, our biggest fan (but then that didn't start with the blogs, it was that way our whole lives). I am so thankful that we started blogging and for the past year he has been able to get a daily glimpse into our lives and the lives of his grandchildren. The last conversation I had with him, just a few short hours before he passed away, was about my blog. He was talking to me about my infamous (well infamous to him at least) Walgreen's Chronicles video. He said I reminded him of some girl who does videos on You Tube and that I should look them up and watch them. I didn't bother remembering what that were called because I figured I would e-mail him and ask me to send me the name or the link. Hmmmm.....I guess that's not going to happen. I don't remember if I hugged him goodbye when I left his house that night. I would like to believe that I did. (sigh)
This picture is of my dad and his very first grandchild, Zac. He was a very good grandpa.....

I had forgotten what your Dad looked like with hair. I think you clone your children.
You aren't the first person to make such accusations.
hey its your long lost cousin. allyson, one day you will have to meet kethy. i think you both would hit it off. i just watched your video and it reminded me of when we were low on forks at grandmas for thanksgiving and we went up to wendys and "borrowed" their forks for our thanksgiving dinner. i hope you are doing well. you are in our prayers. -kenneth
Allyson, I'm glad to see that you have returned...we gave surely missed you guys.
Yes we have missed you and yes Zach looks just like Addy. Glad you are back. I wish I could have come. Love ya.
Thanks. It is good to be back.
Kenneth, that is a funny memory. I mean, they sent us to the store on Thanksgiving to buy forks. What kind of stores are open on Thanksgiving? Back then anyway. I remember we went to several stores and we thought we were going to have to go back to Gandma's empty handed when what to our wondering eyes should appear, but a Wendy's, open on Thanksgiving day. With forks sitting out in the condement section, just waiting for someone to run in and take them. And then run back out and speed away.
