The other night night I watched the The Alfred E. Smith Memorial Foundation Dinner on TV. It was the best thing I have watched on TV in a long time. I thought it was great to hear McCain and Obama making jokes and laughing at one another. It was a much needed break from all the craziness that surrounds this election year. I think it probably did the two of them a great deal of good to pause for a minute and take time to laugh. I think it was good for the rest of us to see also. Did you miss it? dude, Allyson...I just clicked on your link and watched some great humour. That was some great stuff.
Unfort. there was a nasty "related" video with a start frame that was COMPLETELY porno and my brain is friiiiieeeed. I am totally GROSSED OUT! I wanted to see if porn was monitored or a break of usage contract, and it is not mentioned anywhere in the Youtube terms of use. I am TO'ed at the world right now. Some people are so freakin sick in the head. I think I am about to have a "nervy B" (term from British teen lit.)
p.s. it was awesome to see you yesterday!
Julie, I am so sorry to have put you on the path to a nervy B. I hope you can get over your hatred of the world in general and I hope your road to recovery is quick.
It was fun to get together.
